About Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh
Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh (Formerly Manyawar Knshiram Engineering College of Information Technology) was established by Government of Uttar Pradesh wide letter no 394/solah-1-2007-13(37)/2007. The college has started offering B.Tech. programme in three disciplines – Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering (with intake of 60 seats in each) from the session 2010-11.
The aim of the College is to provide education, to conduct original research of the highest standard and to provide leadership in technological innovation for the industrial growth as well as infrastructural development of the state & country.
The College is a constituent college of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (Formerly U.P. Technical University Lucknow) UP.
The admission to this College was started in the year 2010-2011 through State Entrance Examination of UP. The entire function of the college was being organized in the campus of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology Campus Gorakhpur till June 2016. The academic session 2016-17 was started from its own campus at Deogaon, Azamgarh 55 Kms from Azamgarh Head Quarter.
The College applied for the AICTE approval in January 2017 as per the BOG decision and got approval letter from AICTE.
